To give you a background in Dialectical Behavior Therapy (DBT), in the late 80s, Marsha Linehan developed this model to help women who were diagnosed with Borderline Personality Disorder to create a life worth living. Since that time, DBT has become the “golden standard of care” to treat BPD.
